Meet Manchie, Izzie, Reggie and Baby. Our stars here at La Pacha Hostel and Camping! We love all things goats and these four certainly keep us on our toes. We think our little herd is one of the best reasons to visit us at La Pacha. Whether your are a total goat newbie, goat herder extraordinaire or are just a bit curious, everyone can get involved in this authentic rural experience. When was the last time you milked a goat? Morning Milking Every day at 7am sharp the goats are woken for their daily milking session. One by one each goat's udders are massaged and then milked by hand. Between the three adult goats, about a litre and a half of fresh milk is produced every single day! Following milking the crew are taken out to graze. Try to spot the goats as you make your way around the site. We take them to a different place each day so you never know where they might pop up! Learn about the art of cheese or yoghurt making from goat to table Natural, fresh and healthy
Take the opportunity to sample some of the tastiest milk products produced in Colombia (well we think so anyway!) Try our ever-popular cheese combo, which includes a fresh cheese made right here at La Pacha, crackers and three types of homemade chutney to choose from.
